About Smart Tail Photo
Our Story
At Smart Tail Photo, we believe that photography is a priceless memory that should be captured and treasured. There is never long enough time for the animals to be in our lives. Every moment is meaningful and precious. Thus we are committed to provide high-quality photographs to be cherished by the family for many years to come.
The Photographer
Fern is a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) who is passionate about animal welfare and rescue. She is dedicated to capturing the essence of every precious moment. Fern strives to make every photoshoot a memorable and enjoyable experience for her models and clients. She has rescued and rehomed over 50 abused and abandoned dogs and cats since 2010 by herself. Fern has a background in investment management and real estate. She lives with three dogs and three cats who are her fur babies in the beautiful State of Oregon. Her children's picture books of her rescue stories are available for juvenile readers and parents alike.
Our Services
We offer a variety of photography services, especially animal portrait photography, indoors and outdoors, with or without their humans. We proudly work with animal rescue groups and organizations in photoshoot and events to promote the animals in finding their forever and loving homes they deserve.
